6:00 am – 3:00 pm – Willowridge Little House of the Year Challenge
During this 8 hour challenge, local builders will razzle and dazzle the crowd with a fundraising building bonanza! Local builders will have 8 hours to build the best “Little House of the Year”. They will be building playhouses which will be sold at a silent auction during the day. Building takes place from 6am – 2pm, during this time the silent auction will open. There will be 1 hour of public viewing from 2pm -3pm. Auction and viewing closes at 3:00 pm! This is a fundraiser and the house that brings in the highest price wins! Come support our teams out there and perhaps come home with a playhouse for your special child!
Playhouses will be transported to your house free of charge within the Hawea, Wanaka, Luggate area.
Silent Auction will end at 3:00pm. Winners will be announced at 3:45 pm.

Come down to Pembroke Park to enjoy markets, fantastic food and other delicious delights. Pic-nic on the park and perhaps pick up a bargain!

Dress up your pet, bring them to the mainstage and show off their skills! Prizes for all sorts of quirky categories – hairiest, most like their owners, obedient, strangest… and more!

In Wanaka we are serious about recycling. Come challenge yourself at the Wanaka Wastebusters Wheelie Rin Races! Tighten up those laces, fastest bin wins!

Check out the Kahu Youth Tent! There will be a Hang out area, couches and activities to be announced. Location: Pembroke Park – near the main stage. ( tent empty from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm to jump into the lake!)

1:00 pm – 1:45 pm Radio Wanaka Polar Plunge
We are looking for bravery, colour, creativity and distance! Each entrant wins a McGregors Pie and the furthest jump wins a skydive from Lake Wanaka Skydive!
It will be chilly! Do it for fame, Do it for fortune! Go on take the plunge!

1:45 pm – 3:00 pm Kahu Youth Cardboard Boat Race
Arr me hearty’s…. Construct a boat from carboard and successfully navigate this and your crew through a course on the lake to win! An engineering feat of its own and superb entertainment!
