1:30 pm – 4:30 pm - BNZ Piggies for Fashion Judging

Pop into BNZ to admire and help judge the creative and well dressed fundraising piggies. Between 1:30 and 4:30 the piggies will be judged in a number of categories including “Piggy King”  ”Piggy Queen” “Peoples Choice” and “Best Fundraising Pig”. Funds raised from the piggies will go towards future Wanakafest’s and building a community asset during Wanakafest 2010. Be sure to vote for your favorite pig with a few coins!

5:30 – 6:30 pm – Harcourts Street Parade brought to you by Kahu Youth

Be prepared to be dazzled by the lights, music, creativity and charm of the Harcourts Illuminate Street Parade brought to us by Kahu Youth! Bundle up nice and warm, bring your lanterns and lights and prepare for a great evening out. Parade followed by music and food at the mainstage!

Stick around after the street parade for this talented local wanaka band. Described as having a full rock, funk and electronic sound, the six members of this band give it  their all to entertain. Checking them out is a must! Check them out on myspace here
